Talked to a factory race buddy today down south.
He told me to hang tough and wait :
He is working on one of the following machines and has spent lots of time on r&d on it: i can not say what brand, yet.

Anyways expect :
3 new yammies sxs a 50 inch version,a pure sport /dune rocket and a work horse ranger type.
A honda sport sxs
A KTM sport sxs
A new john deere hi performance trail machime
A new Rzr xp stepped way up

Most of the ones he is aware of in
The sport class are well over 100 hp
The one he is involved with is well over the 100 hp.
When i asked him how it stacked up
To the new maverick , he laughed and just said canam set the HP bar way to
Low....lol
This is a reliable source who is on the r&d side of one of the above machines.
The sxs market is about to explode in the next year.....
Enjoy !!!

I've decided not to believe you since you had us all pumped up for the Jagged Edge joke a while back.....

I dp not really care if any one believes me or not. I am just the messenger.....
No one who knows will want thier confidentiality aggreement compromized, and i can respect that.....
The jagged x is not the new release from popo to compete with the mav , i can assure you...lol
Rather a handout from popo to jagged x .
The above fellow does not work for popo by the way .....

Will know soon ,yammy dealer show next week. Interesting enough they never built any rhinos last year.
They have been testing a new unit at the dunes for awhile acording to
The sand guys.
Parkland had the rep in
Yesterday and confirmed a new rhino release is due at the show...

A rhino with 29 hp instead of 28? I don't expect anything out of the Japanese dealers anymore. They haven't released anything decent since the brute force and power steering on the yamahas.

It's still popo in the lead for sxs(I believe don't knows whole lot about the 900 XP vs maverick.) and can-am way out front in quads. Arctic cat continues to come up short.

Time will tell, but i do think you need a sport sxs to survive in this market. The sxs market is huge with a lot more profit margin than quads.....

Big blue make nice stuff , but they Are six years behind. You would think with the move to the US and new plant that they plan to compete harder....

It would be nice to see, problem for me is the $20k tag on any new release 4 seater is just out of the budget.

A KTM race machine I could see, but probably no trail machine.

More i think about it I could see them releasing a lightweight 2wd with a big hp motor.
