yeah like mighty1000 asked. If you let people know what you ride and what kind of riding you want to do then like minded riders will chime in. Us for example do a lot of miles on the trails, mostly in the foothills and Whitecourt area. We are gone usually about 6-9 hours from camp and have gone up to 100 kms in a day. Others go out for a few hours 2-4 and spend more time in camp.
Medicine lake is not far away, south of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 22, it takes us just about 2 hours to get there and we are north of Stony about 15 minutes. Bruderheim and Vega (although you can camp at Vega) is for day trips and it seems mostly younger people, and by that I mean younger than say 40.lol
