Just bought a 04 mc 900 with new engine d&d single pipe and y . Nos kit (wich i am removing ) . I am looking for good mods to this unit. The stock skis suck so im goin with simmons gen 3. Heard bout air box mod whats with it. Are reeds worth it? If so v force or boysen ? My heated grips dont work whats good kind to put on to replace

#1 by far is a Wildchild/CR Racing Forward mount post - puts you a couple inches forward, makes it feel a bit more like an M series.

I thought the stock skis were ok (a buddy has them on his). Ive just got M series skis on mine and they are waaaaay better than the C&A's that mine came with (not stock).

Reeds are not worth it ive heard, but never tried them.

Get rid of speedo and modify your airbox to suck in fresh cool air through a snorkel type intake through the hole which used to be your speedo (see pics)

Check the cables for the hand warmers, mine didnt work to begin with, just a few broken/loose wires. Now works like a charm.

Ill take the NOS kit off your hands, hahaha
