Looking for someone with a welding rig to come over to my place and fix my poor excuse of a fix on my sled trailer.
The one bar that holds the back door closed rotted out.
I picked up 1" OD pipe, and with my junky old welding machine and my poor welding skills, I tried welding this bar onto the hinges.
my issues.
- When closed the bottom of the bar almost touches the trailer door. the top is over 2" away????
So using what i had, i welded another chunk of pipe to the latch that now contacts the door, around the mid section.
Then when i welded the handle back on, i have next to no pressure against the door on that side.
Would like that fixed to work proper again, then do the other side, as it's probably rotted too.
This is in Rural Sturgeon County, about 10 minutes from Gibbons.
PM me if anyone is able to repair. and a rough idea of cost
Thanks
