MX Bike Tiedown

Need to know what the piece you put inbetween the tire and inside the front fender when tieing down the bike. Prevents shocks form collapsing too much.
What is that thingy called and where can I find it??

that's what it's called and you will find it between the tire and inside of the front fender.:d:d:d

called a fork saver, available at most bike shops that sell off road motorcycles. UFO Plastics makes this one

LOL, that thing is awesome! :d

Seriously though, a 2X4 cut to length works just as well, or better because it's a lot stronger, than most fancy aftermarket gadgets, and you really can't beat the price.

Make sure you don't get one of them cheap 3 1/2" X 1 3/4" 2X4's either, if your gonna do it do it right............:d

It's just a piece of 2X4, cut to length, about a foot should do it.

A little trick that has worked well for me is to put a bungee through the front wheel and then hook to the strap on each side, it takes up the slack going over bumps so you dont lose a strap when the fork compresses a bit. You can actually roll with the straps a fair bit looser this way.
