I would like to get some opinions on which monosuits are best. Ive read allot about what people think they look like, and much less on the actual function. FXR/TOBE/HMK/??? Sizing, durability, comfort, waterproofing. Personally I am looking the FXR Ranger or the TOBE Spetsnaz. Does anyone have experience with either or both? Any others I should look into? I'm up at work right meow so I cant head into town and check em out. I'm 6'2" about 235lbs, looking XL or 2-XL, FXR makes an XL-Tall. I would like to order something as it seems they are selling out fast and I need new gear this year.
Any help is much appreciated!

I love the Tobe one but I am too fat for it. I haven't tried the others but I'd rather wear a mono suit then bibs and jacket. Just need one for fat guys lol.

I had a TOBE mono suit, loved it! Think I might switch back to the onzie after running a jacket and pants last season.

I wouldn't pay the extra money for the TOBE, i have the FXR. I am 6'1 and i think i rock the L? the XL was just way too big. I don't like how the tobe hangs off of you, looks limp. From what i was told as well, the base FXR is the same thickness as the Tobe kevlar series. But the Kevlar is close to or over 800? I paid 530 for mine. I love it. Stay so dry, so comfortable and doesn't restrict movement. I buy too many presents for myself, but i want another one.

Good to hear,
I ended up finding a dealer with a few sizes to try in the FXR Lineup. I do like the look of some of the TOBE suits but they seem a bit pricey, and I wont be riding enough this year to justify spending $850+ on outerwear. Going to check out the FXR suits next weekend, hoping I can find something comfortable to keep me dry and warm this year.
Thanks
