Wondering if anybody knows when the trails may open, I know it’s based on 6” of snow. Basically I was wondering what the base is at right now? I’m itching to get out for the first blast of the year

Sorry but we are short a couple in inches of snow - Do the Snow Dance
I watch the weather network each day hoping for snow but not looking like any until about December 12 & 13 so let it snow
Will make a big posting Here when they open it.

Ministik man, is the saunders lake area open yet? Does it have a specific opening date?

Hold your Shorts Folks. Ministik Man will respond as soon as the gates are open. He has to run it past Public Lands to make the decision. If it was up to us it would be different. Want to do it right and not cause any issues that may put the area into concern.

MINISTIK IS OPEN as of December 11, 2010
We have completed the trail maintenance on 65km of trails
We needed more snow and as of December 16 we now have a very good base
We have sledded the trails to pack the sides of the trails down for you and to make the trails as wide as possible from tree to tree
Will not groom with the Br180 groomer til aster the CHristmas Holidays
