m8 turbo

hey i have a 12 m8 with a ovs turbo.. I'm just getting it built so i might be jumping the gun but what would make it idol in say the 14's afr for a few seconds then shoot up to 17 without touching the throttle? any suggestions on what this could be? btw i have boost-it fuel controller but at idol obv. no boost..

Your clutch may be grabbing your belt. Mine does that. Puts load on the engine
