Looking at throwing a new set of boots on my 2010 RZRs. Would like to jump up to a set of 28x14's.
Dealer is trying to get me on a set of Zillas. I've never run big mud tires & wonder what everyone else is using out there that works good for all around riding?

I do lots of trails & mud/muskeg up in Northeast Alberta.

What are some good tires to check out & compare with the Zillas or are Zillas the way to go?

I ran zillas on my quad great tire.
For my 900 xp I will run either zilla or mega mayhem. I am staying with stock rims going to 28x12 tires. I don't want to make the Rzr any wider.

I'd personally run "mega mayhem" just for the name.

Zilla: 27x9x12 - 21.5 lb
Zilla: 27x11x12 - 24.3 lb

MM: 27-9-12 - 30 lbs
MM: 27-11-12 - 34 lbs

Mega Mayhem has a .25" bigger lug though.

Stay away from Zillas on 14" rims. They like to fall off the rim. Had both 12" and 14" the 12's are holding up good. Could be the ITP rims too not sure. Love the Zillas though, light and pretty good traction.

I run 28" zillas on a 12" itp rim and am very impressed with the overall performance of the tire in every condition. I would recommend them to anyone. Buddy has 28" zillas on a 14" rim and had a tire pop off twice last year which isn't too bad for where we ride, I popped a front tire off the rim as well last year but only once and it was a nasty hidden hole I hit. Haven't seen anyone with the new silverback lites but heard they are good as well. Was not impressed with the mud mayhems my buddy put on last year, and niether was he, he went back to zillas after a month or so and sold his mud mayhem's cheap to a guy he works with

30' black momba they are a bit on the heavy side but will take you through just about any thing that you can throw at them

I went with a set of 28" Zillas & 14 Ocatane rims. Will post some pics when I get them mounted up.
Waiting for April 20 to go & hit the St.Walburg rally, if the snow ever melts.
