Logging on the Finn creek Rd

There is Logging on the Finn Creek rd the access to Ground Hog and Salmon. They will be logging until the end of the month hopefully the will be done sooner. There have been some close calls between sledders and logging trucks in the past few weeks, which is frustrating the loggers. They have a right to be frustrated and angry when all they are trying to do is make a living! it's dangerous enough without adding sleds or trucks without radios driving up the road. These guys just want to do their job and not run the risk of killing or maiming someone or themselves. The law states that it is illegal to run a sled on a plowed logging road and it is highly recommended that if you must drive that you have a radio. Regardless of the law is it worth risking lives to have some fun? Please think about the risks and try and use an alternate area. I know we are all suffering from lack of snow right now which has severally limited our riding options but it's still early so lets try and be as safe and responsible as we can be.

Just received word that enforcement on the Finn trail will be stepped up by the authorities so lets ensure that no one adds revenue into the BC coffers save the cash for trail pass's.
