Just wondering for those on here who are using a jacked up truck and a sled deck, what length of ramps are you using? And is there a beaver tail on your deck or not? I have a 05 duramax cc sb 2500 hd with a cst 9-11 lift currently sitting at 9". The back has 8" denver springs and there will be 2.5" blocks on it soon because it sits ass heavy with no load.

My deck has an 8 foot ramp but it sure looks steep. I havent got it all finished yet, hopefully tomorrow ill have some pics of what im talking about. Im thinking at least a 2 foot extension on the ramp would make it alittle better. Any thoughts.

11/12 ft long would work, you might as well jump the truck with 8ft, get someone to video you loading if you stay with 8ft. Good luck

I used to have a 77 chev with 9" lift using a 8' ramp. It got a litte sketchy sometimes but was ussually pretty decent as long as i paid attention. Kinda like loading half lit up and landing on the roof. Used a two foot extension after that and was much nicer.

My buddy has a 08 duramax with a 7-9 cognito on his probably set around 8" with a marthon 7 foot classic deck and 12 foot ramps its actually rather easy to loan/unload. should be no worries. just take your time and dont goose it when going up the ramps. I find slow and steady throttle makes it simple to load. You can kinda see the angle of the ramp when loading flat in the picture.

Thanks guys, that's good info. I tried loading it tonight with the 8 ft ramp and yea, sketchy is a good word to use. I'm going to get a 3ft extension built tomorrow and put my super glides on as well.illpost a before and after pic when I'm done. Thanks again.
