Marked trails, something for everyone. If you want mud, baby there's mud!! If you prefer NOT to spend 3 hours washing off your machine, there are some more tame trails you could likely take your little ones on with JR. Quads. Trails are a sand/dirt/clay base. More rain=more mud. Acces to the trails is off Secondary 633 about 10KM west of Secondary 757. To get there (from Edmonton), head west on Yellowhead trail past Gainford to Secondary 757 (large wooden railway bridge at this intersection). Head North (towards Sangudo) Follow the curves, up and over the hill and turn West on Secondary 633. It's about 10KM on 633 you will come to the Lutheran Camp on Lake Isle. the Lutheran camp is Private property - do not quad or sled or park in there. Just across 633 from the entrance to the Lutheran camp, there is a marked trail. That trail ties into lots of trails from there. Various terrain - some really muddy, some pretty tame. In the winter these become Sled trails, so for us rubber wheelers - the sleds keep the trails packed down so we can use the trails year round. In the winter you can access Lake Isle and follow it across to the West end of the lake. You can follow the creek all the way to Lac St. Anne.
