July Long weekend???

With July 1st being a Wednesday and traditionaly being a long weekend what do you employees and employers expect to happend with this former long-weekend holiday? I have not yet heard at our place whether we can be flexible. It goes without saying that Canada day is "Canada Day" but what is wrong with a long weekend?

PS. Please help me with the Army game as I am getting my azz handed to me.

Where I am working, we get Canada Day only. No long weekend for this cat.

Mid week day off...only..no long weekend but it will break up the week...

Everyone here voted to take Friday off and work Wednesday, who doesn't love a long weekend!

I get the 29th, 30th and 1st off, then I go back to work for Thursday, Friday because I have to cover another person who is taking those days off.. works for me, I get this Friday off aswell so I get 7 days?
