I am looking at installing a koso dual egt with quick response with water and rpm on my '10 assault. Koso says to install the egt sensors 4-6" from the piston skirt, yet on the '10 cfi 4 engine the y pipe is joined within 4" of the piston skirt. just wondering if there is an aftermarket y pipe i need, or if installing the sensors about 3 1/2" from the piston is ok?
