Welll... the 151 is going to be a lot of work in that chassis. For starters you need to figure out if you want a coupled skid in it or not. MXZ?Renegade skids are coupled, Summit skids aren't. Out in Your area it might be easier for you to find a 144 skid and put some rail extensions on it. Then up to the tunnel, they do make tunnel extensions that long. However you will likely have overheating issues due to the cooler not being far enough back in the tunnel to catch enough snow all the time. Gearing.. 24/43 is what the book says is stock gearing in your gade, Summit 800 gearing is 19/43, I think 19/45 is about all that chain case can handle. Then you have a whole bunch of clutching to match the gearing you choose. If you have RER, you have the better secondary to work with. You would probably want to run extrovert drivers too so that you can run the track a little looser and help put some more power to the ground. If you're into carving, find a set of summit radius rods to narrow up your front end, 2000 and 2001 summits are 3" narrower than 02/03.

I don't know about 151 but with smaller drivers and rail extensions you can turn a 144 2" with that 600. I think that the smaller drivers mean you don't need to gear down. I put a 144 on my 2000 600 and had no cooling issues.

Give this shop a call. The owners name is john. Im pretty sure he has a good powder upgrade for the 600HO that includes 700 jugs and new pistons. If you want to make power, more displacement is a really good way to go. I ran one of his engines for 5 years problem free. You could also consider a small shot of nitrous to go with it. As for the 151, im sure it would turn it no problem with some gearing and clutching upgrades to compliment the engine work Sledhead Racing in Oak Grove | Sledhead Racing (763) 753-9324 # 21575 Quapaw St Nw, Oak Grove, MN 55303 | <Business to Business/Entertainment & Recreation/Professional Sports Teams & Clubs> - Yahoo! Looks like you and I are thinking the same thing, except mine's an 02 700 going 151". No big bore though. Will be following this.

600 bucks for a new crank from rkt and im still debating on going with a 700 big bore or going with a 600 ported polished double ring pistons and a high comp head from rkt and going with 144" and 2 3/4" track
