I would like to know how much the better 8’ decks cost. I want to compare the cost of the deck to the cost of my flat deck. A deck with all the bells and whistles (SuperGlides, Super clamp hooks, proper clearance lights, etc..) TIA

Let's see some pics of that sweet mid deck of yours Doug... I've always loved the look of that rig...
Yep those mid decks are the cats azz but prolly more hassle to swap back and forth. Sleds are low and more stable, out of the slop and way nicer loading and unloading at our advanced ages lol

Thanks guys. My build for a TuffLift hydraulic deck is starting in January. I am getting into the planning stages for selling the F350 Lariat. It is a great truck/deck and as Ken mentioned way nicer loading/unloading at our advanced age. As I am "as old as dirt” (that was an imdoo’n comment a few years back) I am going to the next step for loading/unloading with a hydraulic deck; going to load on the ground!

I paid $5000.00 for my cross track 8ft deck
With the super glides and front super clamps (2 clamps).
Went with the 11ft ramp.

Bought it in 2019/2020.

Does a 165 sit ok on these without the extension?

Probably just get an 8ft box next time.
