Just dropping a note to let everyone know about Watt Mountain Wanderers Boxing Day Poker Rally.
We have enough snow to get a base groomed. We are intending to keep the checkpoints close in to High Level, but there is more snow up on the 'mountain' and everyone is welcome to ride all the trails. Although grooming won't be 100% the scenery is worth it IMO.
Start in High Level at Northern Services Shop (11:00), Run out West to the Meadows Frolic Area where there will be a checkpoint or two. Frolic and return, or continue on. Fires will be going at the Meadows and the cabin the top of Watt Mountain.
ASA TrailPasses are required. WMW Membership (new this year) optional.
Sorry Don't have the cost info with me today.
WMW has a -25 degree @ Start NO GO policy although that doesn't look like an issue this year
