Hi from Suffolk, Virginia

I am fairly new to 4-wheelin & joined a Polaris Forum earlier this month which led me to this Forum. I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 & my husband rides a CanAm 650. I was drawn to the "Mud" portion of this site - we don't get much snow in Suffolk (near Virginia Beach) - but I saw Busco Beach Mud Bash in Goldsboro, N.C. in June of 2008 & I knew I wanted to be able to ride in the mud. My 500 is snorkeled & did well it's first outting earlier this month - we had lots of mud & some ice & ice chunks but no snow. I have enjoyed reading about all the sleds - I had no idea it was such a big sport.:d

Yes - Suffolk is close to Norfolk - about 10 miles or so.
