Field conditions from Bruderheim to Waskatenau - for Jan 18th

Myself and a few friends are planning on going from Bruderheim to Waskatenau on Jan 18th.

Just wondering on a couple of things:
1) What are the field conditions like with the recent warm weather?

2) We are thinking of crossing the river at the Waskatenau bridge. Does anyone know if the winds and warm weather have affected the river and the ice in particular?

River could have some water on it. You need to look it over good before you try to cross any river this year.

Fields have snow on them still.
