Engine light PO499 code Dodge Ram 2500???

Anyone have any idea what this code means?? PO499 EVAP Emission vent Vlv/Sol Malfunction High , it is on a 2003 Dodge 2500 Hemi

NVLD stands for natural vacuum leak detection.

Sounds like you might have a problem with the LDP solenoid that controls the LDP vent valve.

Easiest way to check that problem is to find someone with a Snap-On(or similar) scan tool and run through the diagnostic feature. Will show you voltage all the good stuff,.. too bad you are far away cause I have one.
