Crowsnest - August 2014 - do you want to join ?

Since the ride in 2013 did not work out
I want to try and set up another one ..
need help though ..
Think ing join the Crowsnest Quad squad for their ride
I'm thinking that will be Aug Sat 16th & Sun 17th
buy the memebrship $50 ? for the family and ride with them for the 2 days
then have 2 options :

#1 - 2 day club ride + 4 days where ever
- take Monday off
- ride Tues and Wed
- take Thursday off
- ride Fri and Sat
- go home Sun

#2 - 2 day club ride + 4 day ride in BC
- take Monday off
- 4 day ride into BC ( Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri )
- go home Sat

The round-trip is 468km; breakdown as follows:

1. 81km from Atlas Staging area to Elkford
2. 125km from Elkford to Canal Flats
3. 169km from Canal Flats to Elkford via Blackfoot / Quinn Creek
4. 88km from Elkford back to Atlas

Definitely had to pack gas & food. The trails were mostly intermediate / advanced, but there are a few steep spots where even advanced riders may need help. By August things will be getting dusty, so we'll likely split into 3 or more groups on the trail.
There are 3 overnights in the towns of Elkford (2 nights) & Canal Flats (1 night).

Has anyone did the 4 day trip ?

the riding with the club is definelty good... they really know where there going and are excellent guides.. well worth it.. I have done it... same as our membership for 1 is 30 bucks... cheap for 2 days of quadding guides... and you join a club which is a bonus......
