Hi Medler! We ride mostly up the Salmo Creston Pass in the Kootenays. Have more pics from yesterday too.

We'll do a snow dance for you thunder! :)

HI MIKE!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :beer::beer::beer:

Aww thanks Snoqueen!! super thankful. We had about a foot of fresh yesterday. I'll load pics soon. Had a wonderful ride yesterday until we were asked to assist a sledder who had fallen down a mine shaft. Sars came out, (a whole bunch) lots of our club members were out to help sled the sars off the hill too. The sledder that fell down the shaft is ok. A broken wrist and heel is all he ended up with. A miracle considering how far he fel (100ft down and could have kept going)

Don't they implode those mines after they abandon them for this reason???
I would like to see them in the summer,,but not in the winter by accident.

My understanding is it is an old mine which had old regs grandfathered in not requiring them to implode the mine shafts. Pretty scary.
