Just read a thread in the Ab club news sec.
A sledder new to the area wants to volunteer and join a local club. He asked on the 17 of oct /08. No response on the site, to his request? They may have emailed? not sure?
He got a few replies from the Edmonton area. Very nice to see, Obviously realize the value of volunteers.
Are central alberta clubs exclusive, like a few sledding businesses, who want your money but tell you politely to pi$$ off.
If you are looking for members make it easy to find you, put a Phone # in your club listing along with meeting dates and make an effort to bring out new prospects. you like to collect the club membership dues, but without members there are no dues to collect.
Again nice to see the response from the bilers request to join a club.
Just can't understand the no response from the others.
Not everyone knows who you are, where you are, when you meet.
