Hey guys, I bought a new never installed belt drive for xm t3. Some parts were missing but speciality Motorsports got me the missing stuff. My question is, how close is your tension wheel to the inner case. My tensioner wheel bolt head was contacting the inner case causing a score mark and would not allow the tensioner to pivot. I ground the head of the bolt flush with the wheel which makes it move better. But the wheel seems pretty close to the case. Can you guys take a photo so I can confirm it’s good to go ?

Check how the tensioner is spaced as it seems you might have it spaced to close to inner case .
I had the original C3 belt drives and it was close but not touching .
Had some small washers for spacers if I remember correctly.
Will need to make sure the washers are correct on the tension secure bolt as well .

Tension is very important not to tighten to much , which is very easy to do .
Two fingers with belt in between on the back side and twist it .
30 degree ish of twist

Agreed, Watch the belt tension. Snapped a couple belts before I got it right. My recommendation is to run it down the trail for a couple KMs. When the gears warm up they expand and the tension of the belt is tighter.
