It was a members only last year but we've made head way with the back country chalet there and have a good agreement in place as long as everyone respects the boundary. The boundary is well marked and is the east ridge of the area. Park at the Finn creek parking lot and ride north past the pump station the trail is well defined and easy to follow. We hope to be able to start grooming this week but snow conditions are poor right now we need at least 5 more feet quick!

There are caribou issues and closures around the area so be aware and please respect them or lose the area. there are a lot of signs read them and don't go beyond posted boundary. The Chalet is a small private business that supports our efforts and is working with us to co-exist and respects sledding so lets respect his skiers also.

members only !!!! Wtf.........

Last year it was that way due to a special management agreement with the ministry. The other option was CLOSURE last year. Glad to hear that this year it is open abit more. Lets hope that people respect the closures.

It wouldnt hurt to become a member and support these guys who work so hard to keep areas open for us to ride. I doesn't matter if you ride once a year or all year, we need to support the clubs. There is safety in numbers!

Membership has it's privileges!! lol Thanks glassman, membership in the clubs helps increase our voice to government it also helps fund all the behind the scene stuff that goes on all year long both from a local level and through the provincial organization ABCSC which is made up of some brilliant hard working people all volunteering their time ( a lot of it) to ensure sledders have a voice and are not banned. it's unbelievable how much work goes into being able to ride so any and all support is greatly appreciated.
