i posted a fix on snowest for the cord pulling etecs, looking to need the same fix i did back in 08 on my xp, and since then never went threw a belt again, enjoy

Isn't the shaft on the 2012 seondary longer by 1/4"? Obviously there was an issue. .200" is near 1/4".

I had to shim my 2012 2mm and is working good now. No more dust and far less heat. Also I "modified" that sound,..I mean belt gaurd. What a joke that thing is, really. I took many temperature readings in different conditions before and after and have it working good now. In the end I just set it to what my 09 needed.
