alberta laws and restrictions for atv's

What is aloud in alberta regarding transpertation such as driving in the ditches along hwy's? and what about crossing bridges? and close to towns? (not in towns)

as for driving in the ditches you are allowed to ride in the ditches on secondary highways, but not the primary higways. as for crossing bridges i dont know what the law is on regarding that. allso you are allowed to drive your atv on township and range roads.

as far as i understand if im wrong im sure some one will correct me.

each and every county has differing rules and bylaws. most require you to ride with a helmet. most are no doubling unless the machine is desgned for it etc... i am going to put a link to another forum called the outrlaw atv site. we have already done this and most common counties are covered. but it is still best to call the county you plan on riding in. that way you know for sure.
