I'm not sure about the track wear... I would guess that it has something to do with with how the drivers are interfacing with the track. On the pullstart and fly wheel I would guess that there has at some time been something floating around in there beating the crap out of everything! I know that there were some problems with rebuilding those recoils because the clip that holds them all together comes off and causes damage similar to what you're seeing and worst case takes out the stator if it were to get in behind the flywheel. I would pull the flywheel and make sure there's nothing in there but if I don't think the damage shown is any reason to replace anything.
