97 ski doo summit compatibility

I just got a 97 ski doo summit 670 and I was going to buy a parts sled nut it don't know how compatible these sleds are from year to year. I would like to get something a little newer
an steal some parts like the seat and skis. I would also like to have parts to repair or replace suspension etc. Thank you for any input.

Most newer summits suspension can be swapped but the engine changed in 98 nothing was the same. Seats are different gauges changed as well you got about the newest of that era 96 97 are same 98 99 are same

That being said only the 99 snow checked models were the same as the 98 mid season the. Zx chassis was introduced ending the 670 era as they went to the 700
