Hey Guys,

After the Goodfish Lake rally, I'm short a couple skid plates (factory plastic ones). It's time to replace the lot with an aluminum set.

Which skid plates do people recommend for an '05 Brute 750?

Do they mount to same place the factory plates do? (I'll have to spend some time fixing a couple of spots that have been bashed up)

Thanks

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I bought the Aluminum Products skids and stick guards a few weeks ago. After 7 years of riding with the plastic ones, the factory mounts were a little beaten up. This made mounting them a bit of an effort.

Also, I don't know how they are on newer models, but using the aluminum spacers (washers), especially on the stick guards is a pain in the ass. I wouldn't call these "easy to mount". I also had to bend out the bash plate, to fit around my winch mounting plate.

All that said, I'm happy now that they're mounted. They are way thicker than I thought they'd be, and I just wish I did this all while the quad was new. I wouldn't have had a bunch of bent/broken mounting points.
