why did you remove the dpm? my 99 is running the same for jets @ 4000 ft have never had any issues. but my dpm still hooked up. oil to gas could probably be leaned out to 40:1 and still be very safe. could maybe drop one size jets and see how that works.

When you change gas:eek:il mixture from 50:1 to 40:1 you are not leaning it out.

the dpm was removed before i got the sled , there are no guages no wireing harness no headlight , someone wanted a light sled. they droped and rolled the 136 with new track.
So magnet your running the same at 4000 , so i should jet up for 6000-7000??

No if you are bogging you want to jet down. I would think you could be around 320's or 310's at that elevation, so you would be using a smaller jet. Read plugs to determine correct jetting, but +2 at that elevation with stock pipe would be rich for sure. I ran 340's with twin pipes at that elevation and I was rich. Now I have to run 550's, which is a big jet for my 440cc motor.
