2010 M8 Mapping. Can i add aftermarket intake?

I have a rather new 2010 M 800 that is completely stock. I was wondering what the stock mapping is like. It seems to be a little fat on the bottom. I was wondering if i could add a aftermarket slp air intake with out a fuel controller? And if that is ok would i also be able to add a light weight can? Thanks guys.

I would think you will be all right doing those mods
