2008 rmk air box mod

hey i was wondering if anyone here has a 2008 rmk 700 and if they use a single filter to the intake or the slp horn kit. What is the difference besides weight. Are the any advantages or disadvantages to having one or the other? Can anyone help me out please?

I have an 07, same box. With the Airhorn kit and few flowrites, it is one of the best setups out there. The other nice thing is with the airhorn kit if you rejet and pull the air box, it takes way less time trying to fit the box back, as you can reach inside to fit it over the carb boots. That right there is worth getting the airhorn for. not sure if the weight of either would be worth debating over on the sled, but I have the airhorn and love it

i prefer the air filter. its nice to have filtered air. plus wit the 08 700 rmk ther is no jetting so no need to remove the airbox.

have a 08 700 with slp air horn and the flowright and air intake kit still get some powder in air box.Maybe going to get the timber sled air filter....

i got the same thing as the timbersled setup on my 900 and it works good so far.
