2 much fuel

I have a 2002 800 mtn cat efi
went from using 2 gals of gas less than everyone else to using 2 gals more per tank after mech changed temp sensor and said that he reset my computer.
is this just a coincidence or do I need to get the computer reset
PS: sled runs perfect and is actually faster
2nd Are there any answers on the reason why it loads up when riding side hill on the exhaust side. Could it have anything to do with the vent tube for the APV

They are known for bogging when side hilling on exhaust side. I made a little deflector from a piece of 4'' pipe. Worked great til it came off being caught on the lip of my deck. I have it in the back seat of the truck and can take a pic of it later to post.

Im not sure about the fuel thing. Mine has always used very little fuel and always used next to no oil. I could ride for a week on one reservoir of oil.

I had a similar problem on an '06 REV - was average on fuel then all the sudden horrible. It ended up being my throttle positioning sensor - replaced & was good again - they picked it up on a scan though so maybe keep that in mind. Good luck.
