What years work? I just picked up a parts sled, has a triple with a snapped rod. Unsure of the year, says Xtra Lite Triple on the purplish pink head cover. Has stock pipe with aftermarket silencer. IN northern Alberta

1993 to 97 XLT and XCR will work..I just found a new DG silencer on Ebay for my 95, was going to put triple pipes on,but got a LOT of emails,saying DONT do it, RPM goes up and crank goes BOOM< just put a new crank w oversize bearings in it.,.,,just like a little more noise,,,,lol ,,hey,, we had Thrush mufflers in my day!
