Actually I just did some checking down south. I called Steve Woodward at Mt. Baker Moto-Sports in Bellingham Washington and he quoted me $12,000 for the 09 LE and Sno Pro 162". He also has a few 08 162" Sno Pros now for $10,500. This is still $1200 dollars less than I can find within the local area.
The thing is they can't sell to canadian residents, WTF? He said it was written into the dealer contract.
Does anyone have any friends/relatives in washington?
It just pissed me off when mountainside in edson quoted me $15,100 for the same sleds...

Yah I don't get why their asking so much for those sleds, this is not the first time someone has complained about this, and I actually tryied to deal on one 3 months ago and that was the price than, and they have about 4 or 5 M1000 you would think they would want to get rid of them, by now.

A friend of mine has been shopping around for a T-cat quad and a 08 m1000 or maybe sno checking a 09 m1000. He got a quote of $9500 for a 08, not sure if it was a 162 or not. They also quoted him just under $11000 for a 09 m1000 153 LE. This was from Elk Mountain Motorsports in Helena MT. He was also talking to a dealer in Miles City MT but I am not sure what he was quoted from them. It is definatly worth shopping around if could save you a few thousand dollars. I would rather keep the money in my own pocket then give it to someone else.

Anybody take the plunge? I thought the refinements were appropriate, elec reverse is cool and the handlebar adjustment is way neat...I still like the all orange...:D

The handlebar height adjustment looks kind of weak. It will be interesting to see how each notch handles the pounding that the bars take when riding. Looks like an easy shear point to me, but time will tell.

Actually bent a set of the new cat bars at the new sled show. But we must remember that there will be refinements to the actual production models.

Who knows, I suspect it had to be different than the original. The thing is rock hard but feels awesome height wise and way lighter compared to the stock one. Easily another 20lbs gone with the seat and new can...can't wait :d:beer:
