Why is the air box on this thing so hard to get back on the carbs any tricks

Not sure if mine is modified but I can stick my hand inside and line up the carbs no problem.

not on mine I fight with it every time I have to put it back on

They are a major pain the A**. If you have the SLP box its easy, you just put your hand inside and line it up. The factory ones....not so much. Try making the boots as loose as possible, rub a little spit on them, and wiggle away.

PO must have gutted my box cause I can reach right in.

timbersled makes a nice intake for that sled looks simple and takes up very little space
