alright...........
my truck idles around 600rpm +- normally. which is where i like it.
once in a while ( like once a month) ill start up the truck and it will spike to 1600-2000 and stay there for the duration of the drive. even if i try shutting it down and starting it again it stays there. if i leave it sit for a couple hours or over night it will be right back to normal. its anoying driving like that because its hard on the tranny and harder to stop.
the only thing i can think of is that when i shut it off some sensor or valve or solenoid isnt closing properly and when i start it later it is stuck open a bit.
but im not familiar with the throttle/idle system on the new electronic motors.
thanks!!
