do you ride fast down trails, do jumps, donuts, ride alone, climb rocky hills, race down dirt roads, or ride atv/utv/ sleds, etc. do you ever think that something could happen to you or a bud?

do you carry anything in a rack box, backpack to fix a broken bone, head injury, cut artery, road rash, etc.

do you carry any kind of emergency communication to the outside world, a riding buddy your with etc.

any tools or a few spare parts for trail repairs? some food, water, or overnight supplies.

do you have any emergency training, and actually practice it.

if not why not?

if so what do you carry? or does your riding group distibute gear amongst everyone.

life is short, death will be final. something to think about. :twocents:

In all seriousness I do go through my bag every year and make sure my safety and emergency gear is all good and stocked up. And due to work requirements my 1st aid is always up to date

That's the beauty of his disguise.
Some tools (quad toolkit, vice grips, sockets), steel wire, tie wraps, first aid kit, spare belt, spare tie rod, spark plug, air compressor, booster cables, food, water, shovel, tow strap, bungee cords, duct tape, garbage bags, zip locks (freezer bags and giant ones), knife, hand saw, extra cloths as necessary

...and of course, beer and TP.

Still need to find a good way to carry bear spray and still have it easily accessible.

We like to rip it down the trails and like the tight quarters with rocky terrain and trees. We try to spread the equipment throughout the fleet so one person isnt always carrying it all. I usually carry tow straps and clevis and snatch block, a map or two, extra goggles, extra sweatshirt, and some tools (vise grips, hammer, couple punches and chisels, some common open end wrenches, 1/2" ratchet and extensions with some common sockets. Wheel studs and lug nuts, wire, zip ties, electrical tape, screw driver, pliers, side cutters, needle nose and emery cloth and torque bits) spare belt, gauze, bandaids, ace bandage, TP, bug spray, sunscreen, cooler with beer and water, some food (peanuts/pistachios granola bars) couple pocket knifes, tire repair kit and plugs, 12 volt air compressor, lighter, rain gear, and extra gloves. I think that should do it. Oh yeah, rubber boots in the front rack as well as a horn mounted to the handle bars

Next I need to build a radiator wash pump.
