WTF. Don't you use it and put it in a zip lock bag then throw it in the fire at the warm up cabin. Can't leave that stuff laying around in the woods you know.

After reading what you guys I pack I see that im really under doing it. Most of the things I bring are because I have learned a lesson the hard way. Nothing like coming up 3ft short on your winch. I always have a saw under the seat, majority of the time a gun of sorts. I really do need a tire repair kit and some first aid gear. Always some food and beverages of some sort. Always carry some extra rope (now I do) and a collapsing shovel. Having the ranger allows us to pack everything you could think of really without compromising comfort in the cab. Rain gear stays under the seat year round. I think some people forget one of the most important things in being prepaird is to dress for the occasion from the start, jackets and warm clothing, gloves, hat/helmet and proper foot wear.
