I'm looking for owner input from anyone who owns an Outlander. I am considering a 650XT, so far all the people that I talk to who own them are really pleased with them and they seem to ride nice. A little soft in the front end when pushed, but I understand there is a fix for this.

Anyway it is between the new Grizz700 and the BRP650XT. I am really a fan of the Yamaha's having an 03 & 05 Kodiac 450 currently and several before. But driving the BRP has really impressed me, so any opinions good or bad would be welcome.

Thanks.

BRP, I have a 400 Outtie and we love it, a great little machine, rides great and it keeps up with the 600 no problem. It is very comfortable, the seat is excellent, the only thing Im not happy with is the brakes, I have changed the pads at 300 km, there is better pads you can get. They also have the best warentee in the business. Try to buy from a local dealer, I bought all mine from Bill Mitchell at Riverside, If I need service it gets done there quickly, I took it to Martin for servicing once and I didnt get it back for 3 weeks plus. So if you buy from a certain dealer they will offer you better service there than trying to take it to a different place to get serviced.
I aslo just bout a renagade 800 quad and WOW!! thats all I can say, Hold on, The 650 is quite fast I hear. If you go to dootalk forums they have a forum for the canams as well you may check that out or outlaw atv club forum as well.

I have a 660 Grizzly and love it and I believe the new 700 grizz would be awesome but after ridding my father inlaws BRP650 I would buy one in a second. The power is incredible and the ride/handling is smooth and predictable. It easily beat my buds new 800 polaris and a 750 brute in a flat out race. The only advantage a grizz has ,I believe, is it is better in the mud and costs less.

And oh ya I forgot, that Vtwin sound is soooo sweet.

I had a 05 400 Outlander Max XT, not a single complaint, just ordered a 650XT. Best warranty in the business as far as I know. The XT sems a little pricy, but to get the stuff that I would normally buy aftermarket already installed makes it worth it.

My neighbor has a Outlander 330 and its a great quad but he has had it in the dealer to be repaired under warrenty ALOT. He had many problems with it at first but now its got the bugs worked out of it i guess, The 650 has big hype on it and makes lots of power and should be a great quad but ive heard lots of problems about BRP but also there are lots of people happy with them. I no another guy with a Grizz 660 and its an awsome quad. Personaly id go with the Grizz 700 because of the brand and power stearing also is sweet. But Both bikes are good and the Outlander will make more power.

Just picked my Outtie 650XT on Saturday, only got about 50 km's on it, but so far I really like it. Vast improvement over my old Outtie 400. Like that V-Twin sound. Better ride and tons of power!
