So my buddy was another victim this summer of the illusive Brazeau Dam quad borrowers. His story is like many other I have heard on here, but his has a little story at the end! At 12:30 last night he got a call from the rocky RCMP responding to a quad roll over earlier in the evening with injures. Both riders are unconscious and they were riding his stolen quad. So as he says, not only did they get charged with theft, they got the beating he wished he could have given them! Now that's karma

just goes to show how little the police actively watch for our stolen goods. obviously these clowns have been riding it since it was stolen....every machine on that res would be suspect as a stolen machine in my eyes.

The long and short of it is that all hardworking law biding citizens who have something to loose are the ones who ultimately pay for everything.....
Don't pay a few traffic violations and see where you wind up....
Long story but in short several years ago I caught the guy who stole my Jeep. After all the events unfolded I was still in the rental car filling out the "witness statement" While the little fer was going upstairs with a roll of paper in his hand (I later found out this was a promise to appear).
Now if I went to a "bank" and "withdrew" (6k roughly the value of the jeep) I'd be in for roughly 6-10 with 3 squares a day.
Those of us that have something to loose ultimately pay the price whether through premiums or personal loss.
Next time I'll know better than to phone the local constabularies......

This really is a feel good story but unfortunately its probably a 1 in 50,000 occurance, the other 49,999 got off scott free.
