Anyone know anywhere good to ride in the winter?

The creeks are the best. After a good warm spell like we have had latley the creeks have all flooded and refroze. We stud our tires and rip down creeks for hours on end, ice racing so to speak. If you have never tried this before, I strongly recommend it.

Red Water is not bad ( near Edmonton ) or get on the sturgeon river.

just north on highway 28 about 2 km past highway 37 you can off load there onto the sturgeon river

how are they for hill climbing? can you raise enough speed on em to climb well?. im not talking about mountain climbing either.. but like train trestles and stuff. hate to go down one and not get back up

For me, it was all a learning curve, trial and error. Depends on the snow, driver, and incline. Climb;s great without the speed. Exactly opposite from sleddin' where you speed or power over the stuff. Because the tracks are geared down, there is a lot of torque and pulling power available. Check out the videos at;
