I haven't seen one mention on this thread about Bear Claws. Are they out of business or what? I have 27 Bear Claws on my 700 KQ and really like them. They work great on hard pack and very well in mud.

Ya but for the riding we do they arent that great. Buddy had them on his grizzly 660 and he soon replacted them with kenda exacutoners. those are good tires in the mud and trail but suck in the snow and ice.

If it's the Bear Claws your referring to sucking in the snow, I agree. Mine really suck in the snow. However I do maybe 0.0001% riding in the snow so I still really like them.

I am looking at picking up a XP Ranger shortly. Thinking of putting Mudlite XTR on it with specific rims. That way I can run stock when on the dry flats and Mudlites when out playing. Any comments or suggestions? Also any suggestions on where to purchase tires and rims (not just Mudlites)?

Well when i bought my BF 750 it had a set of xtrs on it, but the guy wanted another 800 for them with the rims and i could buy new cheaper. But he had 2700km on them and not a stich of problems and they still looked like brand new. From what i herd, they are a good all around tire.

Ya i was half asleep when i wrote that. So They add about an inch in width on each side, so about 2 inches total.

I would love to take those rims off your hands but my enclosed trailer will not allow me to add any width to my atv... I'm already rubbing against the side when I load two quads in it  Those Cats are wide even with the stock wheels.
