Ever Heard Of a "Quadski"?

I was talking to a buddy of mine and he mentioned that his next quad might be a "Quadski". When I got home I had to look it up and it seems to be a very cool concept but where would you actually us it.(P.S. I checked on pricing and it is not yet set in stone but estimated at about $46,000USD)

My guess is it isn't great at either...but just ok at both.
All hard core water and land people would be let down.

Where are their helmets and lifejackets?!!?.
Ok, I could see some specific uses for that rig, but not for aggressive riding styles of either sport. Hmmmm, maybe an isolated mountain fishing trip that you could just drive your 'quad' to the lake...hit the 'boat' button...then return to the campsite. They would have to do some work to enhance storage capacities, cause I didn't see a place for the live-well but maybe I'll just go pick one up and give it a whirl. What's that?...forty thousand dollars???.......................Who wants to go sledding?????????

$46 G american, Geez that'd only be about $60G CDN with the exchange rate businesses seem to be giving us.. That kind of Chingg could buy you a pretty nice quad and a jet ski and probably a trailer too, no? Cool idea though.

Bah... thats just for the rich to travel down to the marina then drive out the the yacht with getting off your vehicle and leaving it behind. That trail thay are riding on looking fairly groomed for now rocks .....a rock through the hull would be costly

Boy ride that all day in the mud and a short trip across the lake and your clean as a whistle. Ron you got to get one of those after watching your last video you put on snow and mud tube. Just the money you save on quad washes will pay for the unit. In about 5 yrs or so. Neat idea and worked better than I thought it would before watching video. Needs some work, looked like the rider was trying to herd it down that trail. :twocents:
