tire size question

I have an 02 500 sportsman. What size tires should I run? I have 25 in. Will the 500 pull 26's properly?

you might notice a small change in power, but your 500 will handle it no problem.

I put 26's on my outlander 400 and it spins them no problem. The dude that sold me the tires said that to go any bigger on a mid size quad puts way too much stress on the running gear, the motor will spin the wheels but the shafts and tranny aren't really designed to deal with that much extra force exerted by the bigger tires.

Go 26's. There really is not alot to be gained going bigger. But alot of tires change lug height at 26".
