Myself and a friend are hitting up Red Water on Saturday.
Anyone else care to join?

Nothing aggressive. Just want to get out put a few Kms on the machines. I'm still in break in mode on mine.
And coming to a quad from a side x side I still need to get comfortable with how it handles.

Probably stage around 10am.

Was a good day
Burnt almost a full tank. Fuel light came on at the 70km mark.
We did 78kms today.
Seen the fish cops in parking lot A. But they didn't talk to us. So no issues there.

Was a good ride.
Seen lots of others out as well

This one does yes.
And it came in handy 3 times yesterday.
1st to climb back on the ice. Broke through in 2. 4 didn't do much. Locked. Up she come.
2nd was just a dumb move on my part. Dropped into the trail on a corner. Coming off a goat trail. The corner was one that was sunk in on both sides. Same thing 4 just spun. Locked the front she dam near climbed the tree on the other side.
Last was a large log. But i couldn't get the back wheels over. Ended up winching.

Power wise. It scares me. More power than I need.
I came from a side x side. This is my 1st quad. So Im still learning it. Getting used to it.

So far Im pleased with it. Once i get used to it I'll put it in sport mode. See what she does there

Cool thanks. My son is thinking of buying the same machine. I know what you mean about the scary power. I have an outlander max 1000 and it’s the same way. An inexperienced rider could sure get into trouble with these machines in the wrong situation, like coming out on a steep creek crossing or something. Really easy to bring it over on yourself.

70 km on an 850cc machine isn’t bad, particularly if you’re working it and it’s cold out....it’ll get slightly better as things run in, but a bigger, heavier machine with those heavy tires will use the fuel.
