Went to go plow some snow on the weekend and the machine just bogs out under any sort of load. really have to manipulate the choke to make it run and even then its not quite right.....drained all the fuel and put fresh premium in, ran for 30 mins and no change. Its been in the heated garage so nothing is frozen. Fuel filter maybe? it must be starving for fuel if it gets better with choke? In neutral i can almost get it to rev up if i manipulate the choke but then eventually it dies out again.

this is the only vehicle ive ever had where you can park it in perfect working order and then a new issue arises the next time you fire it up

Try some gas line antifreeze in it and possibly green death in the carb, if you're having to choke it that much

Fuel filter is a good place to start. Obviously a fuel delivery issue if cutting the air off makes it run better. If that doesn’t work I’d pull the carb off and blow out the guts. Might be a piece of crap plugging up a passage or jet....
