Hello, after going out this winter on more back roads, and seeing folks recommend air their tires down to like 10psi in deep snow, can I air down my BFG A/T 2 'E' rated to 15 psi without damaging them? I was not sure with the extra couple plies of steel in the 'E' tires.

I'm obviously not that knowledgeable about tires ha ha...

thanks

You can air down the tires as low as you want in snow and slow conditions. Run then all day long as long as the face of the tire is square to the pavement and no excessive sidewall bulge that will build heat. Normally the rears can be set much lower than the front if you are empty. Generally, low PSI will not get you the best fuel mileage.
