Which is better and why.
Havoc rated as more hp but Ranger rated higher payload and towing.
Ride, suspension, frame strength, cab space, controls locations and also routine service access.
Can include comparison with Polaris General also as it is same category as the Havoc.

Both look good viewing new in showroom but looking for owner opinions.

I felt that the seats on the ranger & general have better comfort. I don’t like that there are no grease nipples on the a-arms of my ranger. Tons of accessories for Polaris. For yard work around the garden it is nice that the ranger has turf mode so that I’m not tearing up the grass

Not an owner for either, but if resale is important to you Ranger wins hands down. Also if Textron writes off the Off-road devision how will Arctic Cat product/parts support be? Something to consider.
In 5 yrs that ranger will be easy to resale, who knows about the Havoc, Cat resale is tough.

I just bought a 18 Havoc X. The power and clutching are amazing, team clutches are dialed in. The suspension is awesome , King shocks are quick and easy to adjust. The frame strength should be good considering the chassis is based on the stampede. Cab space for passenger is good, but kinda tight for the driver. I would say if you are over 6ft look at polaris. Seats are kinda stiff, I may go aftermarket or the 19 bench seat. Control locations are easy to reach, but I did prefer the shifter on my yami Wolverine. Service access is very good, but so is Polaris. Overall , I'm very happy, but the seats and cab space is a little tight.
